Benefits of having a Dash Cam

What are the benefits of having a dash cam?

Well, if you get in an accident that's not your fault, someone else causes it, you have the evidence right there. That would be a wonderful benefit.

There are some negatives. If you're using a GoPro camera. It’s in your car and a thief comes by and sees that nice expensive camera. You might be a victim and have your car broken into.  Also, if you publish a lot of things to social media, you might get accused of invading someone's privacy.

Having a dash cam, overall, I think is very beneficial - if you're a good safe driver and you want some backup in case that you're hit by someone else who is negligent.

I think having a dash cam is a great idea.
