So, how do you find a great lawyer? Let me tell you.

A gun recognizes another gun. If you’re a great basketball player in high school and you’re watching a pickup game 10 years later, you immediately know who the good basketball players are. The same happens in trial work. If you’re a good lawyer and you’ve been to trial and you’ve gotten your teeth kicked in a few times, then you know what it takes to be a good lawyer, and you recognize another one.

If you’re anywhere in the state of Colorado, or Texas, or Louisiana, and you’re looking for a good lawyer near you, I’m in Boulder. I probably won’t be able to help you if you’re in New Orleans, although I’m licensed there. But I can certainly tell you the good lawyers in New Orleans.
