Car & Truck Accidents

Boulder County Car Accident Attorney

Located in Boulder; Licensed in Colorado, Louisiana, and Texas

Car accidents can happen to anyone, at any time and many of our clients are involved in accidents where they are totally without fault. Roads are more dangerous than ever with increased traffic and more distracted drivers.  Colorado’s number of vehicle fatalities rose by 10% in 2015, according to Colorado Department of Transportation. In the blink of an eye, car crashes can change the lives of those involved and their families.  The financial burden of a wreck is often extensive and can include medical expenses, missed work, and damaged property.  Chris Parks is an experienced Boulder car accident attorney who can help with your case and get you back on the road to recovery.

What does a car accident attorney do?

A car accident attorney fights to get you the settlement you deserve.  They use their knowledge of the law and previous litigation experience to prove what your case is really worth.

Chris has represented dozens and dozens of people injured in car accidents and also has experience on the other side — representing insurance companies.  His insider knowledge gives him an advantage by knowing how the other side thinks.

Chris’s goal is to make your life as stress-free as possible after an accident by taking care of your case while you focus on healing.

Chris’s Approach to Auto Accidents

The legal process of pursuing a car accident claim begins with collecting evidence, talking to witnesses, and gathering medical bills and records.  Time is of the essence and Chris starts working on your case aggressively just as soon as a contract is signed.

In some cases, a demand letter is sent to the responsible insurance company (or companies) in an attempt to reach a settlement.  Other situations require a suit be filed right away in either state or federal court.  If a client wants us to attempt to settle their case out of court our demand letter will summarize the facts of the case, highlight all damages unique to the claim (such as current and future medical expenses, lost wages, lost earning capacity, scarring or disfigurement, and other types of damages) and propose a fair settlement.  Negotiations can begin with a phone call, but in order to get the top dollar for any claim it is important to be fully prepared to go to court — and that preparation begins as soon as you become a client of our firm. Because Chris has been handling auto accident cases for thirty years he knows how to prepare for trial, including every detail, from what pictures to take, to which experts to hire, to what steps to take to resolve your case as efficiently as possible and for the highest possible value.
