Silicosis
Silicosis is an occupational disease caused by the inhalation of microscopic dust particles called silica. Silica is a component of many building materials and, when inhaled in sufficient quantities over an extended period of time, it can scar delicate lung tissue and render it useless.
Workers from a variety of occupations often suffer from silicosis. Some of the more common occupations include painters, quarry workers, miners, rock grinders, or anyone exposed to silica dust in a confined area without proper ventilation. The disease takes decades to develop and by the time the injured party experiences symptoms, it is virtually impossible to treat.
If you or someone you love developed silicosis, you deserve answers from those responsible. Let Chris Parks, P.C. help you fight for the compensation to which you are entitled. We have helped hundreds victims of occupational diseases in Texas and we are ready to represent you. Contact us today.
